I am a conservative, although I try to follow the news on all the major networks. MSNBC is becoming harder and harder to watch.Their recent coverage of the protest on Washington was absolutely execrable.Starting at the newsdesk all the way through their nightly lineup-Ed Shultz,Kieth Olberman, and Rachel Maddow. All trying to bring race to the forefront of the demonstation. Is it so hard to believe that with an ultra partisan president who wants to fundamentally change America that there could be some concerned citizens whose least of their worries would be the color of his skin? These people should step back and ask themselves two question. If Michael Steele were POTUS and people were out demonstating on his conservative policies of national defense, smaller government, and lower taxes would that make them racists?Would those at MSNBC even consider the possibility of charging these people with racism,or would they champion them?Listening to David Shuster last week commenting on how they were fair and balanced unlike other networks was laughable. It is no wonder why their ratings are so low,and when you add in the people who watch for shock value and the utter hypocrisy they are even lower.MSNBC needs to be more careful with these assumptions and wild accusations, because they are dishonest, irresponsible, and potentially dangerous. When you reduce yourself to the namecalling of those who oppose your ideology it may be time to look inward for the real discrimination.
